I am in the graphics research and development team at Activision headed by Peter-Pike Sloan. I got my Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2014, where I was advised by Scott Schaefer. My interests, however, are broader than just graphics. I got my B.S. in both computer science and mathematics. My father is a professor of biology and I have, at times, worked in the fields of biology, chemistry, and physics.
When I am not working, I enjoy riding my motorcycle or my bicycle, sailing, swing dancing, and designing computer games. I love spicy, flavorful food such as found in Szechuan, Thai, and Indian cuisines. My favorite type of music is electronic dance and party music. Further information about my work, my projects, and about me can be found through the links at the top of the page.
The next best thing to meeting me in person is having a 3D model of me. I got this model scanned of my face at one of the trade booths during SIGGRAPH 2009. If you do not have a 3D model viewer already, you can use MeshLab to see the 3D model of me.
Once upon a time I was a cute kid. This is a picture of me holding some baby frogs.
